FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 gets its own burger at McDonald’s Brazil

A limited edition menu has burgers based on different countries taking part in the tournament in Qatar

McDonald’s in Brazil has launched a limited-edition menu to celebrate the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

There are different, themed burgers available each day of the week, based on countries taking part in the tournament, the first time the World Cup has taken place in the Middle East.

The McQatar burger is available on Mondays. Other countries with their own burgers include Brazil itself, Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Germany, France and USA. Denmark has a McFlurry named after capital city Copenhagen.

The McDonald’s Brazil YouTube channel posted a promo for the launch, which has racked up a combined 13 million views in seven days.

It has also launched spoof press conference videos for each burger, all of which have millions of views.

What’s in the McQatar burger?

The McQatar burger consists of brioche bread, a 100 percent beef burger, ‘Arabic’ sauce, crispy onions, tomato and Emmental cheese.
